Should we castration / spaying cats cation

Question ....
"I do not want castration / cation a cat because:
It is unfair if we mandulkan cats.
Cruel / ruthless if we mandulkan cats.

We've forfeited the right to reproduce
Cats will not be happy if you can not do sex.
Sin if we do it

I have my own Answer
The above statement was one of several reasons / grounds on which of us do not want to spay a cat. There are hundreds of thousands or even millions of abandoned kittens are dumped on the market, restaurants, and other residential areas.
They are exposed to diseases such as ringworm, scabies, FLV and so forth. They meows at people passing by, asking for food. They are fighting among themselves when there are people throw leftovers in the soil.
We can see some big cats there are in a state of despair. One eye and nearly blind cuts, wounds on the body for fight or kicked by a man, leg-hencot terhencot as trampling, mouth slaver for gum disease and various other conditions.

These cats are in a state of misery, and the new kittens are born at this time will also suffer the same fate.
Say we have one female cat. He was able to
experience body heat every 2 weeks, and at this time he will seek a partner even though locked up in the house. If not sterilized, female cat can give birth to 3-5 times a year, and will give birth to 4-5 kittens each time.
We will have at least 24 new cats in the house during the 2 years.

Male cats have, will and must shine urine to demarcate the area, what if he entered the area at the neighboring car tires, flower pots and neighbors buy new shoes?
Finally, whether our angry neighbors, or we ourselves are not able to keep the cats will be brought to the market (which already have hundreds of abandoned cats) and removed in situ, so that the load is transferred to a shoulder problem dealers and customers there. Or, remove it also in other housing areas. These are the same as you throw your problem to another door!
This problem does not end that way. Cats that we throw at the market / food court / other residential areas that will remain to breed as they multiply in our house. And this problem goes back to the title
The difference is, now that we have listed us as a contributor to the problem.
Now ask yourself is, who is wrong / unfair / cruel / sin here?

Siamese Cats

Siamese cats are a very intelligent, lively, entertaining cat. They can be very demanding and become totally involved in their owner's life. Siamese do not like to be ignored and always have to be the centre of attention. They usually regard themselves as people rather than cats. You will never be bored if you own a siamese cat. Siamese cats have a strong personality and are usually very talkative, often with a loud voice. The siamese voice is quite legendry and they use it well to communicate with humans. Their meow has been compared to the cries of a human baby. They enjoy being with people and have a great need for human companionship. Siamese cats are sometimes described as extroverts. Often they bond strongly to a single person.
Siamese cats are somewhat rare, though they seemto be making a comeback, as the breed is popular with pet buyers. It should be pointed out that traditional siamese. Purebred cats, descended from the original cats imported from siam. A pointed catthat you find in the shelter, though it may look siamese, is probablynot a traditional siamese cat. Enough purebred siamese cats haveinterbred with domestic cats over the years that the gene which createsthe pointing pattern is found in a large number of cats, and some maylook siamese when in fact they have very little siamese blood in them. The "pointing" gene creates the distinct color pattern thatdistinguishes the siamese breed. This gene is recessive: two pointedparents will always produce pointed kittens. The siamese kitten is pure white at birth - the gene that produces the"points" on the face, paws, and tail is heat sensitive, and the pointcolor gradually develops on the cooler parts of the body. In somebreeding lines, and in warmer climates, the point color may not fullydevelop until the cat is over a year old.
They're inquisitive, intelligent, loyal (almost like a dog) but most of all, they show affection and they're vocal. They talk to you, and you can't help talking back.
They are outgoing extrovert and can be extremely noisy when they really want to make a point. They are also known to be dog-like, and tend to settle best with cats of their own type such as burmese or orientals but being territorial tend to bully less domineering breeds such as the longhairs. The siamese cats are highly intelligent and need to be kept amused. Toys and scratching posts should be provided for their amusement and they can be easily trained to use a cat scratcher. The gene that is responsible for the pigmentation is heat-sensitive so all siamese kittens, although pure cream or white at birth, develop visible points in the first few months of life in colder parts of their body. By the time the kitten is four weeks old the points should be clearly distinguishable enough to recognise which colour they will be.
That's a stereotype that i think must come from the evil siamese duo in the old disney film lady and the tramp. They're very smart, and they're very.
Siamese cats are very active and make a great pet for people that enjoy spending a lot of time with their animals. Siamese cats have a tan base, with various types of point markings. The four major types of siamese are seal, blue, lilac, and chocolate points. Seal points have extremely dark brown points, while blue points have gray extremities. Lilacs have pale gray points and chocolate points are a light brown. The siamese body is generally very long and lean, with a fine thin hair coat. Typically the very long and slim looking siamese has been used for show cats, and the more common siamese with rounder face and body is what we know today. You may have seen pictures of siamese cats that have crossed eyes, and while this was a trait previously in many of the cats, today it is not as common, and considered a flaw by many breeders. Kinked tails are also a less common trait that doesn't appear much today if you buy from a breeder.
The traditional siamese cat is apple headed and has a robust, compact body, while the modern siamese cat has a more triangular shaped head and has a lithe and slender body. Physical attributes of the siamese cats. This breed of cat is the most popular of all the short haired cats, and is made distinctive by its long, slender body and triangular face. They also tend to have blue eyes and an unusual coat pattern. Their coat tends to become lighter around their neck and body but then darkens on the points of the cat, which are the ears, face, paws and tail. When siamese cats are born, they are only black and white. As they grow older, their coat color changes into the dark and light regions. Most siamese cats are usually black due to a specific gene, and only the points appear in a different color.
Siamese cats are wonderful creatures with bags of character and really sociable, loving personalities. These cats make delightful pets that are loyal and devoted and they will also chatter away to anyone that will listen. - siamese cats are known for being very social and loving. They crave affection and love being around other animals as well as people. - siamese cats can be jealous from time to time if they aren't given the attention they crave.
Siamese cats are not meant to weigh only 5 pounds at maturity. I do not own and will never own (never mind ever breed. ) any of these grotesque, bat-eared, anorexic, outer space/alien looking , caricatures of siamese cats, which some cat registration/show organizations still claim are the authentic siamese. Not to mention the health problems and shortened longevity many of the modern show cat/wedgeheads frequently have. The exotically beautiful, intelligent, loving, playful, vocal, and, yes, sometimes even a bit demanding (i would prefer to say that traditional siamese cats and classic siamese cats have their own opinion on how they want their siamese world to be. Traditional applehead and classic type siamese cats need to be preserved, and not changed to suit the whims of relatively few breeders who think siamese should look and behave differently than they did in their native homeland, siam, before their introduction to the west in the late 1800's.
Siamese cats are the most beautiful, intelligent natural breed of cat, in my eyes. " from their short-haired, muscular, lean, tubular bodies, to their wedge-shaped head with big low set ears and navy blue, almond-shaped eyes, siamese cats are very unique and exotic to say the least. " you don't see a cat like a cfa siamese cat every day. " i have heard: "what is that?" or "is that a cat or dog?" and "would you like a treat for your dog?"" no, thanks. " they are not a cat that sits on your couch all day long. " they are active and demand love, time and attention.
Siamese cats are discussed including the breeding history and adoption into the royal family in siam along with the color, shape and markings of the feline.
Siamese cats are among the oldest recognized breeds in the world and are informally considered the "royal cats of siam," now thailand. Siamese cats first appeared outside their native land in 1884, when the british consul-general of siam returned to his native england with a breeding pair. By the 1950s, they were the darlings of cat shows across the western hemisphere, and generation after generation of selective breeding contributed to the familiar elongated form of the modern siamese cat. Siamese cat breeders expect healthy adult males to weigh between 9 and 14 pounds. Female adults average 6 to 10 pounds.
Siamese cats are sometimes cross eyed.
Siamese cats are a very popular breed because they are extremely intelligent and sociable felines. â  in fact, when you get a siamese cat, it's almost like you're getting both a cat. There are many cat names throughout this site that would be an excellent choice for your siamese cat. â  in this list of siamese cat names, we've listed names of asian origin including thai words (siam, now Thailand, is where the breed originated) such as “boon” which means “merit”, noi which means “little” and dara which means “celebrity”.
Siamese cats are all beautiful and there's no best or worst. It's all a matter of individual preference. My particular favorite is the old-style siamese because this is the type of cat that i grew up with.
Siamese cats are among the most beautiful and beguiling cats in the world. Their brilliant blue eyes and muted cream and brown fur are stunning.
I have five of these adorable fun-loving cats, two beautiful males and three delightful siamese girls. The siamese cat is known as the eternal kitten - the cat that never grows up. They are very intelligent, and very loyal. They will bond with just one person, and often do not like strangers. The siamese cat is very loud, vocal and talkative. They all have individual personalities.

Turtles make amazing pets. Learning how to care for a pet turtle the right way is certainly worth the time, effort, and money you may spend. Remember, there is no excuse for the premature death of your turtle based on neglect or lack of knowledge. The five tips I'm about to share with you can help you provide a long, healthy, and happy life for your little friend.

How To Care For A Pet Turtle - Tip One: Educate yourself. Learn about the specific breed of your turtle. Is it a Box Turtle, a Slider, a tortoise, or something else? Know its special dietary needs, temperature requirements, and social temperment. The more you know about your turtle, the better off you will be.

How To Care For A Pet Turtle - Tip Two: Prepare your home. There is much work at hand. You must purchase or build your turtle's tank. You would be very wise to seek out a vet with experience helping turtles. Do this in advance so you know exactly where to turn in case of emergency (and for insider tips). A little preparation now will lead to smoother sailing down the road.

How To Care For A Pet Turtle - Tip Three: Never use chlorinated water. This goes for your turtle's swimming water just as much as its drinking water. At minimum, pour your tap water into a large container and let sit for 24 hours before adding it to the tank. This will allow the chlorine to dissipate. Ideally, however, you will want to use spring water.

How To Care For A Pet Turtle - Tip Four: It is imperative that you provide your turtle with a mercury vapor UVB heat lamp for basking. This type of lamp will provide your turtle with sufficient amounts of vitamin D3, which prevents bone disease and premature death. Without this lamp, your turtle is in serious trouble, so please do not overlook its importance! Leave the light on for about half of each day.

How To Care For A Pet Turtle - Tip Five: You MUST maintain the proper temperature in your turtle's tank. Of course, this varies from species to species, but generally speaking, 80 degrees fahrenheit during the day and 70 degrees at night are generally accepted as rule of thumb. You will want to purchase an under water heater to achieve this. Again, knowing the unique requirements for your specific turtle's breed is absolutely necessary.

So these are five important guidelines for you to follow to ensure your turtle enjoys a long, happy life with you. Remember, turtles can live a very long time. In fact, some are known to actually outlast us! With this in mind, understand that your initial investment of time, learning, and money will be well worth it in the grand scheme of things.

Having Pets For Autistic Children, Is This Advisable?

Most children love animals and want to have pets. This includes children with autism. Pets can be a wonderful addition to the family, but it can create problems and sometimes be harder on the pet than the family members. Is it advisable?
Before thinking about purchasing a pet for a family with an autistic child, it is advisable to take into consideration what kind of pet does the family want in their home. For example, is it going to be a dog, cat, bird, hamsters, what exactly is the pet going to be? In addition, the family should discuss the care of the pet, the cost, is it an indoor pet, an outdoor pet, who will have the responsibility to take care of the pet. Will it be a family joint effort, where all the family members will take turns and share the load of taking care of the pet, including the child with autism.
The individual who has autism in the family, may love the pet, but may not be able to take responsibility of caring for the pet. In other words, take the pet for a walk, if it is a dog, feed the pet, clean up the debris of the pet and litter that is accumulated, allowing the animal inside the house or outside the house for exercise and fresh air.
There are certain pets that require more care and attention than others do. This is true compared to having a cat as a pet verses a dog as a pet. Dogs usually require more attention, and care than cats do. It is a good idea to take into consideration, who is going to be home during the day with the pet. In addition, what about traveling or taking a vacation, will the pet be able to travel with the family, or will you have to hire someone? Will the pet adjust to traveling or the care of someone else?
Pets in a family with autism can be very therapeutic and can encourage the autistic child to have responsibility, follow instructions, love the pet with hugs, petting it, talking to it, crying and expressing emotions to the pet, that they may not do with other family members. It is imperative to realize, some autistic children display outbursts of anger and tantrums. Because of this kind of behavior in autistic children, you must remember that having a pet in the home may be a target for this kind of behavior. It is wise, not only to think of the family having a pet with a child that has autism, but take into consideration how the pet will adjust and be affected by the child if he or she has outbursts of anger or tantrums. The pet should never be in any danger with the child present if this occurs.
Take your child and family members to various pet stores, visit other families who own and take care of pets, to evaluate if your child with autism responds to the various kinds of pets in a positive way. Purchase a stuffed animal that looks or is the same kind of pet you and your family want as part of the home. Take the stuffed animal and practice and show the child what to expect when the animal comes home as a permanent pet. For example, if you decide to purchase a dog, buy a small leash, some dishes for the dog food, show the child where the dog is going to sleep, practice taking the stuffed animal for a walk with the leash, practice having the stuffed pet drink water and eat food out the dishes, let the child know, dogs bark, growl, cats meow, sometimes claw furniture, climb and jump. Make it a fun part of the child with autism so he or she becomes aware of what to expect if an animal as a pet, is brought home.

10-more-easy-pieces-to-liven-up-your-dogs-meals.

As before, we urge you to keep a few cautions in mind: None of these items by itself constitutes a “complete and balanced” meal. If your dog has health or weight issues, check with your vet before adding any of them to your dog’s food dish. And, as always, start with a small portion and introduce gradually.
1. Carrots
Great dog snack – crunchy, sweet and most dogs really like them. They are loaded with carotenoids, fiber, Vitamin C and Vitamin K (needed for blood clotting) as well as potassium. They have magnesium, manganese, most of the B vitamins and phosphorus, which is required for energy production, among other things. Pup Prep: Start out slowly, as too much fiber may produce flatulence. If your pup sticks her nose up at them, try soaking lightly steamed carrots in chicken broth to increase their appeal.
2. Green Beans
A perfect addition to any doggie dinner. Some dogs love them raw, but most prefer them blanched, which makes for easier digestion. An excellent source of Vitamin K and fiber, these veggies also contain Vitamin C, carotenoids, potassium, B vitamins, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, iron and manganese. Pup Prep: Blanch, don’t boil them to death and lose all those nutrients!
3. Parsley
Not your grandmother’s garnish. Parsley freshens dog breath in addition to providing phytochemicals. It also has Vitamin C, Vitamin K, carotenoids, B vitamins, iron and limonene (an oil that kills bad mouth bacteria). Italian flat leaf parsley has a stronger odor and flavor than the curly leaf variety, but a similar nutritional profile. Pup Prep: Fresh is best; chop it and mix a small amount with food (too much parsley can act as a diuretic).
4. Papaya
Readily available in most markets. This tropical fruit contains papain, an enzyme often used as a meat tenderizer. It assists in the breakdown of proteins and thus is considered a “digestive aid.” Ripe papaya is an excellent source of carotenoids and potent antioxidants, and is also high in Vitamin C, most of the B vitamins, potassium, magnesium and fiber. These nutrients benefit eye health, blood vessel integrity and joint function. Pup Prep: Scoop out a ripe papaya and serve as a snack (remove the seeds; they’re edible, but have a peppery flavor that may be too much for your dog).
5. Pumpkin
Low in calories and high in soluble fiber. Pumpkin makes a nice treat for the pooch with an upset tummy and also helps resolve bouts of diarrhea. It is low in sodium and exceptionally high in carotenoids, potassium and Vitamin C, and has some calcium and B vitamins. It can be used as a fat substitute when making dog treats. Pup Prep: Steam and mash fresh pumpkin, or take the easy way out and used canned pumpkin (organic, if possible). If using canned, read the label carefully to be sure you’re getting 100 percent pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling, which has added salts and sugars

6. Cranberries
An excellent source of Vitamin C, fiber and manganese. Cranberries also contain Vitamin K and phytochemicals thought to inhibit the ability of bad bacteria to stick to and infect the urinary tract. In addition, there may be benefits for blood vessel health and antioxidant protection. Pup Prep: Cranberries are very sour. To offset their tartness, combine them with a sweeter fruit, such as a banana or ripe papaya, for a healthful treat.
7. Sardines
A terrific protein source. Sardines contain appreciable amounts of the amino acid tryptophan as well as Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin B-12 (a hard-to-come-by B vitamin that is essential for cell function). A good source of selenium, calcium and phosphorus as well as Vitamin D, Vitamin B-3 (niacin) and Vitamin A in its preformed state, sardines are a great addition to any doggie diet. Pup Prep: Choose a low-sodium, water-packed variety and mash well, checking for and removing obvious bones, which can lodge in the esophagus or splinter and cause dangerous tears in the gut.
8. Wheat Grass
Also known as pet grass or cat grass. The young grass of the wheat plant (though it doesn’t have the same composition as wheat), it has chlorophyll, fiber, Vitamin E, phosphorus, magnesium, iron and potassium as well as some protein and carotenoids. Wheat grass is also purported to decrease constipation and help with upset stomachs. Pup Prep: Buy or grow a pot of wheat grass and make it available to your dog. Many dogs eat grass, and wheat grass is an improvement over the potentially herbicide-laden, contaminated grass growing along the curb.
9. Turnip Greens
Unfamiliar to many humans and dogs alike. Turnip greens are an excellent source of Vitamin K, Vitamin C, carotenoids, most B vitamins, fiber and manganese. They are also a good source of calcium, copper, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus, and provide a complement of antioxidants. A caveat: Turnip greens are bitter and contain appreciable amounts of oxalates that can bind minerals as well as goitrogens, which may interfere with thyroid function in susceptible individuals. Pup Prep: To minimize these effects and maximize palatability, saute or blanch. Most recipes call for sauteing, which maintains the greens’ nutritional density and increases the odds that your dog (and you) will eat these healthful veggies.
10. Nutritional Yeast
Grown on mineral-enriched molasses and used as a food supplement. This inactive yeast is high in protein, B vitamins and chromium and several minerals as well. Protein is needed for muscle and cell growth, B vitamins are essential for energy metabolism and enzyme function, and chromium is important for insulin release and action, which allows carbohydrates and other fuels to be taken up by the cells and used or stored. Pup Prep: Don’t overdo it, as too much chromium can be detrimental. Use 1 teaspoon for a small dog, 2 tsp. for a medium dog and 1 tbsp. for a large dog. Mix it with food and introduce it slowly.

How to Photograph Your Lovely Pet

Photographing your pet could be an incredibly rewarding experience. Accomplished well, it will permit you to immortalize Fluffy or Spot - that considerable member of your family - the pet that shared you food, chewed your shoes, and brought you the newspaper. The fact is, the act of seriously photographing your pet will bring you both closer mainly because the procedure opens you to noticing the modest, excellent things that you may have missed before - the way he wags his tail, etc. This is really a grand adventure.

Goal
As with anything, its finest to proceed having an objective in mind so you know where to start. What are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to capture your pets playful side? Are you attempting to setup a funny photo making use of a prop such as a birthday hat? Is this an interactive portrait between your pet and your child? Sit down and put on paper this goal, mainly because it will assist you to in preparing correctly. Nothing is worse than spending an hour going to your favorite scene with equipment in hand and realizing your forgot a favorite toy - do your self a favor, don't skip this step.

 2 dogs in the basket
Setting
Now that you might have decided on your objective, its now time to choose the proper setting. Indoors vs. outdoors. Near the fireplace with an open fire inside the background, or in a studio. At the beach or within the woods. As you feel about the correct setting, believe about how your pet will respond to that setting. In case you choose the public park will be the perfect location, you need to believe about your pets resistance to distractions. Is he/she able to resist running right after another animal or individual? The extra you know your pet and look via his/her eyes, the superior off you might be.

Preparation
Now you are at the critical preparation stage. You have set your objective, you have decided on the appropriate setting - lets attempt to anticipate all that will (and will) go wrong. I use the word wrong loosely - try not be too rigid and to have fun - we will talk a lot more about that in a minute. Write out on paper every achievable factor you may feel of. Here are some suggestions:

Exercise your pet - just sufficient so they are still alert, but not hyper
Lighting - outdoor is most effective, but flash will work too - ought to be natural lighting
Grooming - only if it doesnt adversely affect your pets mood - then do it days beforehand
Props/Toys - favorite of the pet
Food - favorite of the pet
Be ready for sudden movement - shutter speed about 1/125th and use iso 400 or 800 film (if indoors)
Watch the scene clutter
Have pet at least 6 feet away from background to lessen shadows
Bring an assistant to assist manage your pet
Zoom Lens
Camera, Film, Tripod, Equipment, etc.
Etc., etc. Are you obtaining the thought? The very first time you make out your list, the process is going to be a little tedious, but the beauty is that as soon as the list is made, all you must do is modify it slightly for the next sessions.

On Location

Whew, youve made to shooting location - congratulations. Hopefully, youve brought every thing you're going to want, right? Right! Now, its time for setup. Be organized; get everything laid out in a logical fashion. The last thing you would like to be performing is fiddling around with equipment once you need to be shooting pictures - an animal has a zero attention span and you've got to be ready to snap that picture when the moment is there. How is you animals demeanor? Is he/she super wound up? If yes, then perhaps some light exercise could be in order - absolutely nothing too heavy, but just enough to aid him/her calm down. How are you? Are you stressed? Relax, and go with the flow - animals are super sensitive to your mood. Give your pet some last minute grooming - just touch-ups. For anyone who is outdoors, how will be the wind? Is it too strong? Is the sun too bright? Keep in mind, overcast is much greater for exposure. Ensure that that your pet is far sufficient away from your background so as to not cast any shadows.

The Photographers Mindset

Your mindset really should be one of peace and serenity. I cant overstate that enough. Also, you have to climb into the mind of your pet as best you are able to. What are they thinking and feeling? Align your expectations correctly. When you have never carried out this just before, dont anticipate perfection the first time out - which will just raise your anxiety level and will anxiety out your pet.

Shooting
One of probably the most essential points to remember would be to get down on your pets level, physically, as much as feasible. A shot from above doesnt portray intimacy. In addition, once you are at your pets level, its easier for you to empathize with it. If you have in no way crawled around on the ground prior to, you may feel a bit foolish, but trust me, it makes all of the distinction inside the world. Make sure that you and your handler work with each other - you've got got to be in charge, but also attempt to be flexible - you might have a great deal of variables that you are managing.
